| Thunderball was the most successful 60s Bond movie, but I have a feeling it was because Goldfinger was so good. Having said that, Thunderball is still decent, if over-long. And I could do without the dumb underwater fight at the end. The women in this are top-notch beautiful, but Largo, the villian, is kinda not-cool. Sean Connery does an excellent job (as usual) as Bond, and it's a neat surprise to see the Astin Martin from Goldfinger make a return. It feels like this movie starts right where the previous one left off! | |
