The Word Television Taping (November 8, 1991)
Smells Like Teen Spirit
Nirvana's first television appearance was on a British show called The Word (with crazy colors in the background.) They performed "Smells Like Teen Spirit."

2nd VPRO radio session (November 25, 1991)
"Virginia"
Where Did You Sleep Last Night?
Here She Comes Now
Unknown Song
An interesting radio session for multiple reasons. Two songs (Dave's "Virginia" which is only a bootleg-title, and the "Unknown Song") were performed for the only time here. Also, It appears as though the band are using borrowed instruments - Kurt's acoustic guitar nor Krist's bass are recognizable.

Top Of The Pops Television Taping
(November 27, 1991)
Smells Like Teen Spirit
Nirvana's only mimed-performance on television. Well, sorta mimed. Kurt never pretends he's really playing the song, and sings the song an octave lower than usual. Krist and Dave eventually also give up the pretense of miming. It was released on the Live! Tonight! Sold Out!! home video.

Tonight with Jonathon Ross Television Taping
(December 6, 1991)
Territorial Pissings
"Territorial Pissings" was released on the Live! Tonight! Sold Out!! home video.

This chronology is in no way complete, and is based on my own stash of Nirvana recordings (although I've got tons more live stuff than just what's on these few pages.) Material I have in one form or another is in Gold. Material I'm missing is in white.
